This is a beautifully decorated and updated cabin/home, very well supplied with everything you’d want for a relaxing vacation. The kitchen was well equipped with extra items we didn’t expect, which was a bonus. We are grandparents traveling with our children and their toddlers, and the layout of the home worked very well for us. Nearby was a local restaurant, Paradise Resort Bar and Grill; we enjoyed their food and sandy beach. The lake depths were low, and that allowed the little ones to comfortably enjoy the shore. Brainerd has great amenities for young families, including a surprisingly good zoo, Safari North. We highly recommend staying at Paradise Shores.

We loved our stay at Paradise Shores! The house was great for a family getaway and we really enjoyed the hot tub! While we were there we got 20 inches of snow and the management team was great about communicating when we'd be plowed out. We were also close to several places to ski and snowshoe and had a lovely time skiing at the arboretum and wandering downtown Brainerd.

This property was great for our family of 4 young adults kids and 2 parents. Location is great- only two hours from the Twin Cities and easy to find. The house is super clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the hot tub, cooking in the large kitchen, game night around the kitchen table, a visit to the bar just down the street, and lots of relaxation! We visited in winter, and although we are not snowmobilers or ice fishers it seemed like lots of people were having fun out on the lake. I really appreciated that there were plenty of towels, soap, shampoo, etc. The kitchen had all the basics and more! Our host Mike was fabulous. He was a great communicator, but didn't feel invasive- just super helpful!

We had a great stay at Paradise Shores! The house fit 9 of us perfectly with a bed for everybody. The hot tub was perfect on a cold winter day. The kitchen was great for cooking meals. The whole house was a perfect weekend stay-in vacation spot. Mike was super responsive to any small questions to concerns we had! We would definitely come back!

Perfect place for families with young children. Everything was just like the descriptions in AirBNB. Wonderful spot for a family reunion like we did. Our daughter lives in Baxter and had baby #3, so nice to see our whole family together. All 6 grandchildren together. Nice swimming with no weeds. Son-in-law caught a couple of large northerns off the dock, and threw them back in. We saw the Big Dipper and the North Star. Beautiful sunsets. All had a good time. We will be back.

Great Ice fishing!! This beautiful home sits on Upper South Long Lake right in front of one of the most popular ice fishing spots in the area! Soak up the sun and relax in this beautiful lake home. Great outdoor space with grill, hot tub, and patio furniture is right on the beach! Walking distance to Paradise Bar and Grill, to meet the neighbors or to just enjoy a beverage on the deck. we are only 10 miles to Brainerd, and 20 miles to Grand Casino Mille Lacs, or to Crosby mountain bike trails. This is truly a perfect lakeside cabin. Bring your boat or pontoon and enjoy fishing on Upper South Long Lake! Please contact us with any questions.

The space

The home has one bedroom with a queen bed downstairs. Upstairs it has a loft with a queen bed. It also has a 2nd bedroom upstairs with a queen bed and a third bedroom with a twin over full bunk.

Please Note:

We welcome groups but are not looking to have parties of any kind hosted at this property. This home is located in a neighborhood and the owners do have a noise meter installed to notify management in real time if the noise level is constant and at a decibel that will bother their neighbors.
